Indianapolis Star and News; Indianapolis IN; 2007-3-4 Ruth Ann Buennagel 73, Indianapolis, passed away Thursday March 1, 2007. She was born October 24, 1933 in Indianapolis to John and Margaret (Barrett) Laker. Ruth was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and was a wonderful homemaker. She had worked as a bookkeeper for Borden's Milk Co. in Indianapolis and had also worked as a cafeteria cook at St. Jude Catholic School. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Florence Laker Mattingly; brother-in-law, Charles Lex Mattingly; niece, Maryanne Martin Dezelan; sisters-in-law, Ruby Buennagel and Suzie Buennagel. She is survived by her husband, Robert J. Buennagel, Indianapolis, whom she married on October 24, 1959; daughter, Ann Buennagel Skirvin; son-in-law, Mark Skirvin; grandson, Matthew Skirvin; granddaughter, Rachel Skirvin, all of Bloomington, IN; sister, Margaret Mary Laker Martin; brother-in-law, John Martin, both of Indianapolis; and brother, John Laker of Fortville, IN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 5, 2007 at 11 a.m. at St. Jude Catholic Church of which she was a member. Friends may call on Sunday March 4, 2007 from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Daniel F. O'Riley Funeral Home where morning prayers will be said on Monday at 10:30 a.m. prior to Mass.
