Ruth Ash Lake Page was born Aug. 22, 1925 in downtown Sarasota. She died
Mar. 27, 2017 in Sarasota. Services will be held Sat., April 8th at 11
am, Southside Baptist Church, Sarasota. She is survived by her three sons,
Casey Lake, Steve and Bev Lake, Tim and Debbie Lake; 3 grandkids and 4 Great
Grandkids. She was preceded in death by Clancy Lake and Willard Page. Ruth
was a loving, caring, kind hearted lady. She was truly loved by everyone
who knew her. She worked as a riveter in Sebring, FL during WWII in the
40's. Ruthie the Riveter. She worked 13 years for the county of Sarasota
and was a very active member of Southside Baptist Church for decades. Ruth
was the happy, jolly sparkle in all our lives. Arrangements are by Jennings
Funeral Home & Crematory.
