DOWDING, Ruth a resident of Paris, Ontario and formerly Ridgetown and
Aylmer died Thursday, May 27, 2004 at the Willett Hospital, Paris at the
age of 87 years. Born in Orford Township daughter of the late Clayton
Lake and Elizabeth Amelia Maude (Bury) Dowding. Beloved wife of the late
Dougal Ferguson Dowding (1983). Dear sister of Lawrence Gosnell, Brantford
and the late Margaret Savoy (1977). Ruth and her husband Ferg operated
the Dowding Egg Grading Business in Aylmer for many years. Friends will
be received at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main Street E., Ridgetown
on Sunday, May 30, 2:00-4:30 and 7:00-9:00p.m. Funeral Service at the
Funeral Home on Monday, May 31 at 11:00a.m. with Reverend Carol Brown
of Highgate United Church officiating. Interment Gosnell Cemetery,
Orford Township. Donations made by cheque to the Highgate United Church
