Ruth G. Harman 94, died Dec. 5, 2008, in Caon City. She was born May 4,
1914, in Fairbury, Neb., to Frank and Genny Lakey. At a young age, her
parents moved to eastern Colorado, where they homesteaded and raised four
children. After graduating from Simla High School, she married Judson
E. Harman. She is survived by two children, Nancy Walters, of Wilcox,
Ariz., and Neil Harman, of Florence; brother, Lester Lakey, of Golden;
and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister and brother.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 11, 2008, at the
Evergreen Cemetery in Colorado Springs. Charles Anthony Funeral Home
handled the arrangements.
