Ruth L. Keppel of Boulder died Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2000, in Boulder. 
She was 90.

The daughter of William M. Lake and Hattie Pearl Ballinger Lake, she 
was born Feb. 5, 1910, in Cumberland County, Ill. She married Harold 
Ballinger in 1925. They divorced. She married Gene Ward. They 
divorced. She married Johnny Urbana. They divorced. She married A.E. 
Keppel in Denver on Dec. 4, 1959. He preceded her in death.

Mrs. Keppel lived in Boulder County for three years, the last two at 
the Hawthorne House in Boulder.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include a son, Kenneth Ballinger of Denver; four 
grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband.

A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. today at Fairmount Cemetery, 439 
S. Quebec St., Denver.
