Born in New Ross, she was a daughter of the late Franklyn and Idella (Leopold) Jollymore. Mom was employed as a domestic for many people in the New Ross area for many years. She was a member of the New Ross Baptist Church. She taught Sunday school and was a church trustee and member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Little Baptist Church on Mill Road. She volunteered for several organizations over the years. Mom was so full of fun, laughed easily and it was a joy to be around her. She loved her family very much, including her daughters-in-law and son-in-law. She is survived by her husband, E. Ray (a resident of DVA Wing, Soldier's Memorial Hospital); daughter, Alma Dodge (Murray) Dunham, Berwick; sons, Roy (Carolyn) Dodge, Cambridge, Kings Co.; Wray (Grace) Dodge, White Rock, Kings Co.; Basil (Cecile) Dodge, Waterville, Kings Co.; Archie (Jane) Dodge, Rockland, Kings Co.; sisters, Daisy Pye, Rita (Vaughn) Meister, all of Mill Road; Olive (Alcide) Thibault, Weymouth; brothers, Foster (Jeanie), Karl (Phyllis), all of Mill Road; Basil (Jean), Chester Grant; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by son, Charles Dodge; sister, Thelma Kaizer; brother, Lindsay. Visitation from 1 p.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. Monday in Davis Funeral Home, Chester, Pastor David Hine officiating. A private family burial to follow in the Baptist Cemetery, New Ross.
