She was born in Sunflower County, Miss.,had lived in this community for 11 years, and attended the Beulah Baptist Church. Mrs. Stevens is survived by husband, Henry; sons, Charles and Michael, both of Akron, Melvin and James, both of Cleveland, Miss.; daughter, Bernice of Akron; mother, Mary Alice Murray of Cleveland, Miss.; stepmother, Mariah Lake; brothers, Sammy Lee and Willie Joe of Cleveland, Miss., Bolden of Macon, Miss; sisters, Gloria Prigmore and Maxine Cobbin, both of Akron, Mary Lee Murray, Annie Pearl Murray, Rosie Murray,and Alice Murray, all of Cleveland, Miss.; four grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, 11 a.m., at Rhoden Memorial Home Chapel, with Elder Albert Stevens officiating. Internment at Glendale Cemetery.
