Schulyer C. Collins 1865-1924 Posted by Linda Deutsch Lambert on Wed, 13 Oct 1999 Surname: Collins, Wilson, Deutsch, Lake, Ames, Peterson, Edwards, Morgan Schulyer C. Collins died March 28, at his home in the town of Sheridan at the age of 59 years. He had a stroke of paralysis four years ago from which he never fully recovered. March 24 he was again stricken and quietly passed away. Mr. Collins was born in Stark county, Ind. August 11, 1865. He married Anna Louise Wilson, Nov. 6, 1897. Two children were born of this union. His widow and children, Mrs. Mary Deutsch, of Prairie Farm, Wisc. and Mrs. Lena Lake of Wheeler, Wisc., survive. Also two daughters by a former marriage, six brothers, two sisters and ten grandchildren. The funeral was held at the Vanceburg church, April 2, Rev. Mr. Crawford of Wheeler officiating. Interment was made in the Vanceburg (Wisc.) cemetery. The Dunn County (Wisconsin) News 10 April 1924. Schulyer C. There are also daughters by a former marriage, Mrs. Delia Ames, The Dalles, Oregon; Mrs. Bessie Peterson, Pacific Grove, Calif.; There are two sisters and six brothers, Mrs. Mary Edwards, Bass, Ind.; Mrs. Mahala Morgan, Tribune, Kansas; William Collins, Connorville; Isaac of Knox, Ind.; Theodore of Hammond, Ind.; Charles and Nathaniel of Colorado.
