The Post-Journal; Jamestown NY; 2004-10-23 Sharon Lee Nelson, 55, of 3202 Busti-Stillwater Road died at 11:15 a.m. Friday (Oct. 22, 2004) in her home. She was born May 15, 1949, in Salamanca, the daughter of Gladys Sherlock Lake and the late Royce Lake. She was a 1967 graduate of Randolph High School and a 1995 graduate of Jamestown Community College. She had been employed by Anderson Screw Products in the quality control department. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church, serving as a Sunday school teacher, AWANA leader and ladies ministry leader. She was also a member of Koinonia. She will always be remembered for her laugh. Besides her mother of Kingman, Ariz., she is survived by her husband, Ronald C. Nelson, whom she married June 20, 1986; two sons: Phillip Hadley of Scottsdale, Ariz., and John Hadley of Kennedy; a daughter, Heather Porzelt of Buffalo; two stepsons: Ronald Nelson Jr. of Key Largo, Fla., and Peter Nelson of Lakewood; two stepdaughters: Penny Nelson of Jamestown and Tammy Ormond of Kennedy; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Daniel Lake of Kingman; and a sister, Rosemary Woods of Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her father, who died in 2003; and a brother, Robert Lake, who died in 1999. The funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Hillcrest Baptist Church. The Rev. Jerry McCann, pastor, will officiate. Interment will be in Busti Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Lind Funeral Home.
