NELSON-Sharon Louise (nee Lake)

May 1, 1950 - June 24, 2009
In loving memory of Sharon Nelson who passed away peacefully Wednesday
June 24 at Richmond General Hospital surrounded by family and close
friends. Beloved mother to Kimberley and Michael and grandmother to
Adrianna, she was a loving mother who dedicated her life to her children.
She was an extraordinary woman whose strength and determination allowed
her to always have a positive outlook on life and courageously battled
complications from lupus.  She always had advice to give to anyone
who needed it and was affectionately called "mom" by many.  She can be
remembered for always riding around Richmond on her scooter wearing a
funny little sunhat and making friends wherever she went.  At her request
there will be no memorial service but instead a bench in a local park
will be dedicated to her memory
