BRECKER, Shirley (nee Robbins), of Willow Grove, PA, formerly of West
Berlin, NJ. On October 13, 2010, at Fox Chase Cancer Center after a
courageous battle with esophageal cancer surrounded by her family,
at the age of 74. Devoted mother of John C. Sr. and his wife Laura of
West Berlin, Scott J. and his wife Andrea of Willow Grove, PA. Proud
grandmother of John C. Jr., Joshua W., Kaelynn N., Noah T. and Jacob
F. Dear sister of Margaret East of Lake Panasoffkee, FL. Loving companion
of Albert Reeves of Riverton. Also survived by her former husband
John W. of Venice, FL. Shirl was born in Camden, grew up in Beverly,
NJ. She worked for 20 years at Gregory's on High St. in Burlington City,
retiring in 1991 as Office Manager. Shirl enjoyed visiting the casinos,
playing pinochle, eating out and was an avid Phillies fan. She loved
being with her family, her grandchildren and friends. She will be sadly
missed by all who knew her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend
her viewing Monday 10 am to 12 Noon at the GIOSA FUNERAL HOME, 171 Haddon
Ave. West Berlin, NJ, where her funeral services will be held Monday at 12
Noon. Cremation and entombment will be private. Shirley's family requests
in lieu of flowers, donation in her memory be made to the Fox Chase Cancer
