      SHIRLIE JEAN PRATT

      Jan. 28, 1930 - Aug. 27, 2002

           Shirlie Jean Pratt died in Port Hadlock at age 72 after a
long battle with lung cancer.

           She was born in Seattle to Bruce and Belle (Rice) Lake.

           She enjoyed the Seattle Mariners and crocheting, and was a
member of Calvary Chapel.

           Mrs. Pratt married and divorced, and is survived by son
Laurence and Sister Lana  Myer, both of Port Hadlock; sisters Nancy
Ephely of Vancouver, Wash., and Margery Renstrom of Seattle, and two
grandchildren.

           SERVICES:  Sunday, Sept. 8, from noon to 4 p.m., Celebration
of Life at 41 Candace Road, No. 1, Port Hadlock.  Kosec Funeral Home is
in charge of arrangements.


           CORRECTION (Fri. Sept 6, 2002):
           Shirlie Jean Pratt, who died in Port Hadlock at age 72, is
survived by sisters Lana Meyer of Port Hadlock, Nancy Katsikapes Hefely of
Vancouver, Wash., and Marge Renstrom of Enumclaw.  Incorrect information
was provided for the obituary published Wednesday on Page A4.
