   Sophie Kozak passed away peacefully at
home in Kelowna on August 16, 1999 at the age
of 68 years.
                   ___________________
   Survived by her loving husband of 42 years,
Michael; one son, David (Gaylor) and their
daughter, Jessica of Westbank, B.C.; two sis-
ters, Kay Zukowski (Nick) of Westbank, B.C. and
Nellie Budnyk of Edmonton, Alberta.  Sadly pre-
deceased by one brother, Nick Lakea.
   A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday,
August 21, 1999 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of
Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield
Road, Kelowna, B.C.  Interment to follow in
Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery.  In lieu of
