Frederick News Post Frederick MD November 3, 2010 Stephanie Knaub Lake died suddenly on Sunday, Oct. 31, 2010, her favorite holiday, Halloween, at Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pompton Plains, N.J. She was 35. Born in Boston, she was raised in Ewing Township, N.J., and was a graduate of Ewing High School class of 1994. She has been a Bensalem Township resident for the past four years. Stephanie graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City and was a technical designer for several years with Jones Apparel Group in Manhattan. She was the beloved wife of 1 1/2 months to Christopher Lake. Stephanie was the loving daughter of Timothy and Diane Knaub of Frederick. She was the sister of Theresa Gallagher (James) of Wilmington, Del., and the aunt of Delaney and Quinn Gallagher and Brendan and Anabella Lake. She also will be sadly missed by her maternal grandparents, Ken and Dorothy Hoftiezer of Oostburg, Wis., and her paternal grandparents, Gottlieb and Selma Knaub of Sheboygan, Wis. She was the daughter-in-law of Russell and Carolyn Lake of Bensalem and the sister-in-law of Timothy, Patrick and Ashley Lake. Stephanie was preceded in death by her brother, Eric Knaub. Family and friends are invited to call from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 5, and 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. Her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
