Published in the Morning Call on 7/10/2006. Allentown, PA Stephen S. Beck Sr., 80, of Nazareth, died July 9, 2006 in ManorCare, Palmer Township. He was the husband of the late Sara (Rampulla) Beck, who died in 1994. Stephen was born August 14, 1925 in Nazareth, a son of the late Charles and Angela (Freigruber) Beck. He was a production supervisor in the garment bag department at the former Fred Will, Easton. He worked there 39 years, retiring in 1986. He also worked for the former Hesss Department Store and the Bon-Ton. He served in the Navy during World War II. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Nazareth. He was a life member of Holy Family Sick and Relief Society, Nazareth, and a life member of Order of the Fleas, Easton. He was a member of the Nazareth Jacksonian Club, where he bowled on the Industrial League. He also bowled on the Businessmen's League at the Holy Family Club. Survivors: Two sons, Stephen Jr. and his wife Michelle of Bushkill Township and Joseph and his wife Gloria of Lower Nazareth Township; daughter, Mary Frances Weirbach, Forks Township; two grandsons, Joe Jr. and Stephen III; three great-great-grandsons, Zachary, Alec and Brenden; companion, Olga Borbas of Martins Creek. He was predeceased by brothers, Charles, John and Anthony and a sister, Theresa Deutsch. Services: 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Reichel Funeral Home, Nazareth. Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m., Holy Family Church. Call 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Burial in parish cemetery.
