Lake, Thelma Marie Cauble 	
Thelma Cauble Lake SALISBURY - Thelma Marie Cauble Lake, 76, of
Salisbury, died Thursday, Feb. 2, 2006, at Rowan Regional Medical
Center. Born Aug. 17, 1929, in Rowan County, Mrs. Lake was the daughter
of Alice Salter Cauble and Leory A. Cauble. She was educated in the
Rowan County schools. Mrs. Lake worked for Normans of Salisbury, where
she retired. She was a member of Stallings Memorial Baptist Church.
Mrs. Lake was preceded in death by her husband, Robert M. Lake, on Feb.
22, 1995; son John M. Lake on Jan. 16, 1988; and sister Mary Alice
Cauble. Survivors include son Robert M. Lake Jr. and wife Elizabeth of
Beaufort, S.C.; daughter Linda McDougald and husband Jasper of Salisbury;
grandchildren Michael Beattie and wife Sandra, Jennifer Beattie and James
Beattie; and great-grandchild Jordan Davenport.  Visitation : Visitation
will be from 7-8:30 tonight at Summersett Funeral Home. Service : The
funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Stallings Memorial Baptist Church
with the Rev. Robert M. Heard, minister of Stallings Memorial Baptist
Church, officiating. Burial will be at Rowan Memorial Park. Memorials :
