Tiffany Anne Lake, 9, of Kouts, passed away Saturday, January 5,
2008 at the University of Chicago Hospital. She was born March 4, 1998 in
Valparaiso, and was a fourth grade student at Kouts Elementary School.
Tiffany is survived by her parents: Richard and Karen Lake; brother,
Rick and Corrina Lake and family of North Judson; sister, Rebecca, Chad
and Colton Witkowski of Kouts; sister, Rachel Lake of Kouts; brother,
Nicholas Lake of Kouts; cousin, Pam and Tim Kelly of Porter; brother,
Randy and Heidi Lake and Family of Arizona; sister, Tammy Collins of
Texas. She was preceded in death by brother Isaiah Lake. Tiffany was a
vibrant, loving and positive child. She touched dozens of people daily
with her cheerful and friendly personality. Tiffany loved the Lord and
witnessed to many. She never let herself get down and approached each
day with a true smile and excitement. She loved reading, watching TV
and movies, playing outside, collecting horses and Little Pet Shops,
and taking care of her two dogs. Tiffany enjoyed school and participated
on the Spell Bowl Team. She was a blessing to all who met her. A funeral
service will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Kosanke Funeral Home,
Kouts, with burial to follow at Graceland Cemetery, Kouts. Visitation
Tuesday, 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to Comer's Children's
