Published in the Contra Costa Times on 8/5/2004 Contra Costa County, CA Tiffany Lakin Martin Born on Dec. 7, 1939, passed away at home on Jul. 14, 2004 in Pleasant Hill, CA. Born in Bellfontaine, OH, daughter of Herb Lakin and Helen McClure (both deceased). Tiffany attended Ohio State University. Survived by Rick Lakin, brother. Rick resides in Chula Vista, CA. Tiffany is also survived by a number of cousins residing in OH. Robert Martin and Tiffany Lakin were married in Las Vegas, NV 41 years ago. Robert comments that "Tiffany was his lifetime companion and his forever angel." Tiffany was on the Burt Children's Center board of directors, San Francisco, CA. The Burt Children's Center was founded to house and assist Autistic Children. For 13 years Tiffany was a regular on WBZ Radio's Bob Raleigh show, Boston. Her weekly talk appearance as a psychic, was heard in 36 states, in addition to Canada and the Bahamas. As an award winning writer, poet and photographer, Tiffany loved the creative process. Tiffany (along with Robert Martin and friend Steven Barrymore) founded 21st Century Vision, a structured audio and visual experience for guided relaxation. Tiffany began her teaching career with her own development of Magical Thinking, a revolutionary new approach to restructuring a person's belief system. She taught Magical Thinking in San Francisco for many years. Tiffany requested cremation. Robert Martin would like to thank Kaiser Hospice in Martinez, CA for all their assistance and comfort, and recommends this program for anyone in need.
