VEARL O. LAKE
POLSON - Vearl O. Lake, 70, of Proctor died Friday [January 21] in
St. Joseph Hospital in Polson.  He was born Feb. 5, 1906, at Vermillion,
S.D.  He grew up and attended schools at Wessington Springs, S.D., and
later farmed there.  Following his service in the armed forces during
World War II, Mr. Lake worked as a mechanic.  In 1970 he moved to Proctor
to live with a sister.  Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Floyd Coe,
Proctor, and several nieces and nephews.  Services will be at 2 p.m.
Monday in the Mosley Chapel in Polson with the Rev. James DeGroat
officiating.  The body will be sent to Sandpoint, Idaho for cremation.
