Coates, Velma Mae

  Velma Mae, 93, passed away September 3, 2006. She was born August 12,
1913 in Konawa, OK. She was a devoted mother & grandmother, a retired
teacher, a member of the Eastern Star, Home Demonstration Club, Sunday
School Teacher and camp counselor. She is survived by 2 sons: Charles
Lakey & wife Elaine of Kingfisher, Dwight Lakey & wife Gwen of Del
City; 2 daughters: Narva Wilkerson of Atwood, Joyce Davis & husband
Monte of Mustang; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; & 1 sister:
Vivaree Glover of Seminole. She was preceded in death by her parents; 1
brother: Alvie Davis; 1st husband: Charles Clayton Lakey; & 2nd husband:
C.W. Coates.  Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 8,
2006 at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel with a graveside 2:00 pm at
Maple Grove Cemetery, Seminole.
