COCOA, Fla. - Verna Krebs, 86, of 1450 Melrose St., passed away on
Monday, Aug. 10, 2009, at the Wuestoff Hospice Care Center, Rockledge.
She was born Aug. 24, 1922, in Snyder County, Pa., a daughter of the
late Park and Martha (Beck) Smith.  She was married to Paul Krebs,
who preceded her in death in 1989.

Verna was a member of First Baptist Church, Cocoa.  Verna enjoyed quilting
for her church and the Baptist Children's Home.

She is survived by three sisters, Mae Tanner, of Painted Post, N.Y., Fern
Eister, of Selinsgrove, Pa., and Florence Cellitti, of Northumberland, Pa.

Friends and relatives will be received from noon to 1 Saturday at the
Shaw Funeral Home, 400 N. Front St., Milton, Pa., followed by the funeral
at 1 with the Rev. Thomas Krampert, of Bible Baptist Church, Kreamer,
Pa., officiating.  Burial will be in Harmony Cemetery, Milton.
