THE REGISTER-GUARD, Eugene, Oregon, 7 November 2001, obituaries: VIRGINIA SIPE A memorial service will be held Nov. 10 for Virginia Alice Sipe of Aloha, formerly of Eugene, who died Nov. 3 of cancer. She was 61. Sipe was born June 1, 1940, in Ukiah, Calif., to Glen and Mildred Banks Leek. She married Gary Brooks in Beaverton in 1984. She received a bachelor's degree from Marylhurst University in Portland. She worked as a Realtor, appraiser, counselor and hypnotherapist. She lived in Eugene from 1942 to 1954, from 1958 to 1960 and from 1978 to 1981. She also lived in Coos Bay from 1971 to 1978. She enjoyed gold dredging, working with children and helping people. She was a member of the Living Enrichment Center. Survivors include her husband; her mother of Aloha; a son, Timothy Wulf of Cottage Grove; a daughter, Stacy Wulf of Beaverton; a brother, Larry Leek of Gresham; two sisters, Susan Haddsock of Oregon City and Margaret Leiberan of Aloha; and two grandchildren. Saturday's service will be at 1 p.m. at the Christian Faith Center in Lake Oswego. American Burial and Cremation Services of Oregon in Tigard is in charge. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leek Children's Camp Fund.
