LAKE Virginia Graves Lake, 97, died July 7, 2005. She was born in
Hopkinsville, Kentucky, was a member of First United Methodist Church
of Hopkinsville, moved to Orange Park, in 1940 and was the first nurse
to retire from Baptist Medical Center, Jacksonville in 1969. Mrs. Lake
is survived by her son: Ralph R. (Dulce) Lake; daughter: Virginia L.
(Jack)Wright; 3 grandsons: Gordon G. (Donna) O'Steen, Jack (Dana)
Wright, Jr., and Randall Todd Wright; 4 great-grandchildren; 1
great-great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service
will be held at Island View Baptist Church, Monday, July 11, 2005 at
11:00 AM with Dr. William Scott Conner, and Fr. Jose Kulathinal, CMI,
officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 AM
at the church, prior to service. Family requests donations be made to
