The Daily Gazette; Schenectady NY; 2001-9-22 VIRGINIA OROPALLO SCHENECTADY - Mrs. Virginia Oropallo, 75, of Frank Street formerly of Euclid Ave.,died Friday at home after a long illness. Born in Burnt Hills, Mrs. Oropallo was a graduate of Mont Pleasant High School. She was a communicant of St. paul the Apostle Church. Survivors include her husband, Joseph J. Oropallo; two daughters, Jo-An Dole of Hamburg and Marie Roberts of Charlotte, N.C.; a brother, Joseph Lake of Leominster, Mass; a sister Beatrice Nelson of Charlton; and three grandchildren. Services will be held at 8:15 Monday at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam, followed at 9 at St. Paul's Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours are from 6 to 8 PM Sunday at the funeral Home. Burial will be in Memory's Garden, Colonie. Contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Schenectady, 1411 Union Street., Schenectady. Arrangements are by the R.j. DeLuccia Funeral Home.
