Mrs. Edman was a member of Utica, United Methodist Church, the order of Eastern star, Glenwood Chapter 303 and a volunteer for the American Red Cross Utica Bloodmobile. Survivors include sons, Don William Edman of Raleigh N.C. and David Eugene Edman of Columbus; Daughters Barbara A. Edman of North Vernon, Ind,; Mary Lou Lindsey of Utica and Jewel Marie Nichols of Wellington, Ohio. A brother, James Barncord Lake of of Columbus, Ohio. sisters Jacqueline McDonald of Newark; Gwendolyn Johnson of Oro Valley, Arizona and Mary Helen Johns of Utica; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Edman, in 1988, and her parents, Willis Day and Helen Annamae (nee Barncord Lake.) Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main Street, Utica, Ohio. Gerry (Stephanie) Harrah of Leavenworth, Kan., Joshua and Jason Nichols of Wellington, Sara Fisher of Richwood, Eddie Fisher of Dublin; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Edman, who died in 1988.
