The Winchester Press; Winchester ON Canada; 2003-6-22 Vivian May Baker - Vivian May Baker of Winchester passed away peacefully at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital on June 22, 2003. She was 83. She was the beloved wife of Alfred Baker of Winchester for 55 years. She was predeceased by parents Rueben and Sarah Lake of Russell. She was the cherished mother of son Terry (Elaine) of Morrisburg and daughter Helen Baldwin (Walter Knight) of Kingston. She was dear grandmother of Amy-Lynn (Doug Matchette) of Vernon, Laura Yates of Morrisburg, Susan Baker (Chad Perkins) of Brinston, Christopher Baldwin of Kingston, Samantha Baldwin of Kingston, and Jonathan Baldwin of Winchester. She was great-grandmother of Jenna, Pamela and Brandon of Morrisburg; and Andrew, Marissa and Mitchell of Brinston. She is survived by brother Orville (Joan) of Ottawa. She was predeceased by brother Sam (late Catherine) of Russell, brother Dalton (late Edna) of St. Catharines, sister Dorothy (Cyril Latour) of Ottawa, and brother Merton (Irene) of Ottawa. She will also be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews, neighbors and friends. Mrs. Baker was born on Sept. 21, 1919 in Russell. Friends paid their respects at the Winchester Funeral Home on June 24 and 25. The funeral service will be held on Thurs., June 26 at 11 am in the chapel of the Winchester Funeral Home, with Rev. Bob Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Knight's Cemetery in Inkerman. The pallbearers are Gerald Crowder, Dave Hutt, George Hutt, Tom Beck, Donald Runions and Dan Kelly.
