Born in Johnstown, Ohio, to Nola and Charlie Lake, Viv was raised in Clintonville and spent most of her adult life in Upper Arlington, moving to Florida in 2000 to be close to family. A graduate of North High School of Columbus and the Ohio State University, she was a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority. She worked for the Ohio Bell Telephone Co. and later as a librarian for the Tremont Road Library. An avid reader who had a passion for playing bridge and working crossword puzzles, she was known for her caring nature, positive attitude and love of flowers. She is survived by a daughter, Jody Elliott; a son and daughter-in-law, Jim Wuille and Sally Kandel; two grandsons, Matt and Kurt Elliott; and many dear friends, especially her dear friend, Claudia Mason, and all of her special family at Tandem and Big Bend Hospice. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 44 years, Bud.
