LAKE, Waldo "Walt" Alexander, 87, of Phoenix, AZ passed away on April
20, 2012. Walt was a devoted husband and father. His smile and laugh
will be missed by all who knew him. Walt and his beloved wife, Betty,
moved to Arizona in 1957 and worked alongside one another running Pete's
Auto Trim in Phoenix until they retired in 1989. Retirement led them to
Sun Lakes where Walt was not only an active member of Sun Lakes United
Methodist Church, but worked for nearly ten years as the custodian. He is
survived by his children: Steve (Diane), Ken (Carol), Dave (Jennifer) Lake
and Susan (Howard) Abee, and four grandchildren. Services are scheduled
for May 11 at 10:00 a.m. at the Desert Mission United Methodist Church,
7373 E. Dixileta Dr., Scottsdale.
