LAKE, Wilbur, 92, was born June 6, 1909 at Minco, OK to Bert and Effie
Lake, and joined his wife Chris in Heaven on March 2, 2002. Wilbur was
an insurance agent for Prudential and for AFLAC insurance companies. He
was a member of the Southern Hills Baptist Church and the Capitol Hill
Lions Club.  Wilbur was preceded in death by his parents; wife Chris;
son Richard Lake; brothers, Oakly, Jack, and Homer Lake; an infant
sister and sister, Alice Maddox. Survivors include his son, Charles and
wife Bettie Lake of Port Isabel, TX; daughter, Beverly Hughes of OKC;
brother, Walter and wife Margaret Lake of Enid, OK; sisters, Marie
and husband Cecil Armstrong and Wilma and husband Bud Nelson, all of
Woodward, OK; grandchildren, Jane McKinney, Brenda Pack, Jeff Hughes,
Carol Loeffelholz, Cheryl Vaughan, Rhett Lake, Ryan Lake, Dayna Brown and
Laurie Williams; 15 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren and
many other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be
made to the Lake Library or the Peru Missions at Southern Hills Baptist
Church, 8601 S. Penn, OKC, OK 73159. Services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday
at Southern Hills Baptist Church.
