The News, Saturday, March 4, 1899 Frederick, Maryland Will Lake, son of W.H. Lake, and formerly of Decatur, died Monday, October 17, at Muncio, Ind., aged 20 years. On August 11 last he graduated from the school of pharmacy at Valparaiso, Ind. He took a position in a drug store at Muncio but three days later was stricken with typhoid fever and died after an illness of two months. The young man was well known in Decatur. He was employed at one time in the Armstrong drug store and later in Charles Tyler's drug store. He was a bright, industrious boy and had many friends. He leaves a brother, L.H. Lake, in this city.
