Born Aug.17, 1920, in Chicago, he lived in Ramona for 16 years, He served in the U.S.Navy as a Lieutenant Commander during WWII and was a flight instructor. He was an airline pilot for PSA for 25 years and was a horse breeder with 4 Lakes Arabians. Mr. Lake was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Kleo M. Lake, in 1996. He is survived by his daughters and son-in-law, Sheri and Grant McNiff and Joyce Morytko; and five grandchildren. Viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 AM today, with the funeral service at 11 AM, both at the Ramona United Methodist Church. The Rev. J.T.Greenleaf will officiate. Entombment will follow at 2 PM at El Camino Memorial Park. The family suggests memorial donations to the American Cancer Society, 12405 Rancho Bernardo Road, Suite 100, San Diego, CA 92128.
