Lake, 67, of Hebron, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Criss-Schoedinger Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Tom Myers officiating. Burial will follow in Newark Memorial Gardens. Mr. Lake, a truck driver for Phil Vogelmeirer for 31 years, died Oct. 6, 2002 at his residence. He was born Oct. 28, 1934, in Newark, to the late Joseph F. and Nellie (Johnson) Lake. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Dorothy (Garrard) Lake; six sons, William F. (Katherine) Lake, Sr. of Mount Vernon, Terry (Dianne) Lake, Ricky (Megan) Lake, Charles Lake, and Paul (Diana) Lake, all of Newark, Brian (Terri) Lake, of Hebron; one daughter, Deborah (Francis Sr.) Kvintus of Newark; nine grand- children; four step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one step-great-grandchild; one brother, Martin Lake Sr. of Newark; one sister, Doris (William) White of Crooksville; and numerous neices and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers; and three sisters. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home, 179 Granville St., Newark.
