from a descendant, GFL473@aol.com The Kingston Daily Freeman, Kingston, NY, Monday Evening, November 19, 1956 William H. Lake, 66, of 51 Newkirk Ave., died suddenly Saturday. He was born in Connelly and lived there most of his life. A boatmen by trade, Mr. Lake retired from the Cornell Steamboat Co. two years ago. Fraternally, he was a member of the United Marine Workers Union, Loyal Order of Moose and Kingston Lodge 550, Benevolent Protective Order of Elks. A veteran of World War I, he served with Company M. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. John Tomaseski and Miss Jacqueline Lake; a grandson, John K. Tomaseski and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held from the Frank H. Simpson Funeral Home, 411 Albany Avenue, Wednesday at 8:45 AM, thence to St. Mary's Church where a solemn high Mass of requiem will be offered for the repose of his soul.
