WINTER HAVEN -- Mr. William Henry "Bill" Lake
died Tuesday (Oct. 27, 1998) at Florida Hospital in
Orlando. He was 83.

Born in Scarey, W.Va., May 14, 1915, he came to
Winter Haven from St. Albans, W.Va., in 1979. He was
a weigh master at Union Carbide. He was Protestant.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Lake, Winter Haven;
son, William H. Lake II, Hay Market, Va.; daughters,
Carolyn Stephens, Kissimmee, and Joycelyn Holliday,
Cape Coral; eight grandchildren; and four
great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at
Resurrection Lutheran Church, Winter Haven. Grissom
Funeral Home and Crematory, Kissimmee.
