Kansas City MO Lake, William Patrick William Patrick Lake, 60 of Kansas City, MO lost his valiant fight against cancer and Myotonic dystrophy on June 23, 2007. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at Muehlebach Funeral Home, 6800 Troost Ave., Kansas City, MO where the rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Graveside service and interment will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 27 at Mt. William was born October 11, 1946 in Kansas City, MO to Harry W. and Elizabeth J. (Donnelly) Lake. He was a graduate of UMKC with a degree in psychology and was a trained gunsmith. William was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the U.S. Army. He worked for the Kansas City Police Department as a Latent Print Specialist for over 25 years. He had a vast knowledge of history, books, dragons, trivia and he loved action/adventure movies. William was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Charlie Lake and great niece, Carly Lake. Survivors include his sister-in-law, Katie Lake; niece, Susanne Lake; nephew, Daniel Lake and wife Jeannine; great nephews, Aidan and Liam Lake; his best friend and confidant, Trudy Royster and many loving cousins and friends.
