Thomas E. Lake of Roscoe, NY, a retired Sgt. with the NYS Dept. of Corrections at Sullivan Correctional Facility, and lifelong area resident, died Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at the Achieve Rehab and Nursing Facility in Liberty, NY. He was 72.

The son of the late Howard and Annabelle Finnegan Lake, he was born September 6, 1946 in Roscoe, NY. Thomas enjoyed singing and playing guitar.

Survivors include his devoted wife, Rocki Lake, at home; two sons, Kyle Lake and his wife, Leanne of Ballston Spa, NY, and Mitchel Lake and his wife, Kristina of Ballston Spa, NY; one daughter, Jessica Darby and her husband, Reed of Commack, NY; five sisters: Barbara Cromie of Roscoe, NY, Ginger Wakeman of Roscoe, NY, Sharon Keene of Cooks Falls, NY, Alice Meyers of Roscoe, NY, and Carol Gerow of Carey, NC; six grandchildren: Ashleigh, Max, Bryce, Myles, Brandon, and Parker; and two longtime close friends, Chuck and Greg. He was predeceased by two brothers, William and Donald; and three sisters: Dorothy Pherrigo, Joyce Bury, and Rosemary Fassberger.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., Friday, September 21, 2018 in the Harris Funeral Home, Railroad Ave, Roscoe, NY. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, September 22, 2018 at the Harris Funeral Home. Mr. James Buck will officiate.
