The object of this organization was to pursue horsethieves & housebreakers for members of this society. Allen H. Robbins & Matilda B. Robbins were members of the Second Reformed (Dutch) Church of New Brunswick, NJ in 1893. Mrs. Thomas B. Robbins of Pittsburgh, PA was a contributor to the Protestant Orphan Asylum of Pittsburgh & Allegheny. She donated 38 yards of gingham in 1895. Edward E. Robbins attorney-at-law was on the stockholders consulting board for the Pittsburgh Life & Trust Company in 1905. His place of business was located in Greensburg, PA. His line by this time had several politically prominent people in the Pa Govt and were in the land and coal business. On the map of his day that area of Westmoreland Co, Pa where he lived was known as Robbins Landing, and after the railroads came into existence, as Robbins Station. Hope this is helpful to someone..
