I am a direct descendant of the Elisha Lake that was born in 1763 in Virginia
and died in Alabama - his wife was Margaret and he had two children, William
and James. Elisha was my GGGGGFather...

Does anyone have any information that goes back farther than this? I have
heard we are from England..?
