Joseph M. Lake who married Jane Riley is the gr-grandson of John Lake and
Susannah Savall who lived in Fauquier Co., VA.  This John Lake and two of
his brothers, Vincent and William, are said to have been from Dorchester
Co., MD.  Their prior origins are subject to speculation and there are a few
different versions.  I would be happy to send you a gedcom from John down to
Joseph M. if you would send me a direct email.

At this point, it doesn't appear as if the Dorchester LAKE family is
connected to the Gravesend LAKE family but in time, further research may
yield other clues.
