The message below didn't come to me directly but was passed along to me
by member Steve Russell. Thought I'd post it, maybe somebody here knows
of this Robbins group.

I am trying to find my connection to the Native American roots. My
great grandmother, Anna Morris Olson, always told us she was 1/4
cherokee. I can trace her back to Julia Robbins, who was her
grandmother. After that I hit a dead end Her father might be
Marmaduke Robbins in Franklin, Virgina. Julia Ann Married Samuel Lowe
in Indiana. They lived in Kansas, Creek Indian Territory Oklahamo,
and Texas. I might of found a connection back in the 1700's in
Virgina, in a census there was a Abraham Nations that marred "Rebecca
Cherokee Indian". I am not even sure if this is my family.

I realize I may never find the connection, but I am hopeful. Any help
or suggestions would be appreciated.
