Irving Robbins, co-founder of Baskin & Robbins Ice Cream. He was born 1918
in Tacoma, WA. His partner Burt Baskin was his brother-in-law.

John Robbins, author & son of Irving Robbins of Baskin & Robbins was born on
10-26-1947 in CA. Author of "Diet for a New America" & "Healthy at 100." He
believes in eating a completely plant based diet so no Baskin-Robbins products
on his diet unless someone has discovered how to make them out of plants.

Brigadier General Augustine Warner Robins was born 1882 in VA to Civil War
Confederate Colonel William Todd Robins & his wife Sally Nelson. He was the
great,great grandson of the Rev.  War hero of Yorktown, Thomas Nelson. General
Robins graduated from West Point in 1907 & served with General John Pershing
in New Mexico in 1916 in an expedition against Pancho Villa. He was one of
the first logistics specialists & generals of the Army Air Corps. He died
in 1940 & is buried at Arlington National Cemetery. Robins Air Force Base
was named in honor of him.
